The Blueline Sand Anchor is great for sandy or muddy seabeds. It relies on penetrating the sand or mud to grip, holding your boat in position against the wind, tide and current. It folds down flat, it’s easy to stow on board, and it has great holding power.
Make sure you don’t use the Blueline sand anchor on reef or rock – it won’t be able to penetrate and hold. The ‘double fluke’ design makes sand anchors prone to losing their grip when the tide and the direction of the pull changes. When it comes to mud and sand, though, this is a great little compact anchor that’ll keep your boat steady.
